Behind the Scenes of Cycle Supply: Building a Bike & E-Bike Store
Share
The idea for Cycle Supply first hit me while riding through Yosemite National Park. Being able to smoothly move from hike to hike without having to get in a car or a bus was a great choice of freedom. In that moment it made me realize I wanted to build a store that captured that same feeling, a place where bikes and e-bikes are new, exciting, and worthy of your trust. What started as an idea in my head while I was riding by has turned into something real.
Over the past few months, here’s what’s been going on behind the scenes:
1. Choosing the right brands
I've been researching the best bike and electric bike manufacturers and suppliers across the USA to make sure Cycle Supply will offer products that I’d be proud to ride myself. I'm looking for high-quality and fairly priced bikes to cover your needs.
2. Building the store
Right now, I'm designing the website so that it's clean, fast, and easy to use, whether you’re buying your first commuter e-bike or upgrading to a high-performance road bike. It's been a lot of late nights spent tweaking the layouts, but I want the website to feel right.
3. Lining up content for riders
Even before the first bikes hit the shelves, I’m working on these helpful guides:
• E-Bike vs. Traditional Bike: Which One is Right for You?
• E-Bike Laws You Need to Know in the USA
• Must-Have Cycling Accessories for Comfort and Safety
4. The road ahead
We’re not open for sales just yet, but it’s close, and I can’t wait to share the first arrivals. Join the Cycle Supply newsletter to be the first to know when bikes land, get special launch discounts, and maybe even a few surprises.
Thanks for following along on this journey. See you on the road.
